Our growing Central Region is seeking a Systems Analyst to consult with
internal and external clients to determine technology requirements that will
support organizational business goals. As the main point of contact between
the solution team and subject matter experts, you will provide the initial step in
the process of delivering integrated business and information solutions.
- Act as technical liaison for current and ongoing technology requirements to
support business needs.
- Clearly translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice
versa.
- Be an example and champion of service quality, setting the organizational
standards.
- Effectively implement technology initiatives.
- Identify and analyze technical problems, plan, task, and solution.
- Participate in various types of special projects, including cyclical technology
refreshes, ongoing initiatives, and one-time projects.
- Assist with managing telecommunications, hardware, and internet service
providers.
- Assist the support Helpdesk professional staff, including but not limited to,
handling escalated support incidents and projects.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and
communicate with impacted constituencies.
- Participate in annual infrastructure planning exercises.
- Proactively seek out cost savings through operational efficiencies and valueadded
activities.
- Research, architect, design, and implement new technology and upgrades,
including support of mobile technologies.
- Maintain and champion improvements to infrastructure to ensure its
reliability, security, and scalability.
- As required, respond to emergencies and system failures, including afterhours
problems, and lead troubleshooting and resolution of escalated issues.
Job Duties
- Manage First Level Support for general desktop/laptop issues (in person and
via email/telephone) by our internal Service Level Agreement.
- Enter new trouble tickets and resolve at the first point of contact if possible.
Escalate tickets when required and keep users informed of status.
QUALIFICATIONS, REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Minimum three years hands-on experience in technology operations as
well as in Unix / Linux and networking systems.
- Minimum two years experience as an Active Directory administrator and in
Cloud computing.
- Minimum two years experience in Cloud computing.
- Experience with Cloud Computing including Azure and O365 Administration
including Exchange Online and SharePoint online.
- Hands-on familiarity with current IT systems, including networks, servers,
data security systems, and VOIP telephony.
- Strong technical skills in LAN, including switching, server, and related
peripherals.
- Literate in all Microsoft Desktop and Server O/S and products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve root issues with
excellent customer service and follow-up.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to
communicate clearly with non-technical staff.
- The ability to work independently, a self-starter, and comfortable dealing with
internal Online Business Systems customers and, on occasion, supporting
external customers.
